Temple of the Stars
Temple of the Stars music is sonically nocturnal and melodic, with folk elements presented within an atmospheric rock context.
The songs are catchy but they also have a sense of mystique. The underlying themes of the songs deal with mythological forest dwellers and ancient wisdom. The band's debut album Nightspirit was released in 2019.
”Nightspirit is both the name of the first single and the album. The goal was to make a song with a mystical and magical atmosphere but still catchy and with a great melody. There are stories about powerful nature spirits in many mythologies. The song tells about a creature that is an impersonation of nature and the forest.”
The album Nightspirit was written in collaboration with Thomas Finholm. The album was Co-produced and managed by Mathias Lillmåns who is best known as the frontman of Finntroll.
The two music videos were filmed and produced by the production company Eva Lingon (Tage Rönnqvist, Rasmus Tåg). The video Lands of Old was shot in Bodö in Norway. The location captures the atmosphere of the record and the result became powerful and cinematic.
On the Nightspirit record, Tobias played everything, except the bass that was played by Niklas Norrgrann. As the project evolved and the need to play live emerged, Niklas switched to the guitar and Mats Ödahl took over the bass playing and Victor Nyblom entered the scene as the drummer.
